The exhibition from the cycle Prague Art Meets the (C.I.T.Y.) Streets in the Czech center Vienna and the 12th year of the Soho in Ottakring festival, are both dedicated to „vice“, or a „bad habit“. Czech artists prepared under the title KICK THE HABIT!, original projects tracing social phenomenon masked by the ambivalent word habit. They deal with shared prejudices, which, incorporated in common culture, are not judged/seen/considered/felt as prejudices.
Martin Káňa – CELESTIAL
Uncover the baldachin and you will understand. What shines on the top, is not the same in the inside… Author plays with the thin line between private and public space/sphere.
Michal Cimala – MANAGER HAMMER MOBIL KILLER
One of the most diffused Czech bad habit. Cell phone. Mobile. And those, who can’t exists without –managers. There is the highest quantity of „mobiles“ in the Czech republic. And also the highest quantity of managers.

Linda Čihařová – AVERAGE PLACE
